Our goals

  1. to promote the use and dissemination of experimental and simulation methods in the field of human and social sciences through interdisciplinary collaborations between researchers, which we consider a crucial pillar for understanding the complexity of human behavior and decision-making

  2. to implement and coordinate experimental and simulation research activities by providing national and international researchers with the tools necessary for carrying out experimental research in the human and social sciences

  3. to organize conferences, workshops, seminars, and other educational activities on the use of experimental methods in the human and social sciences

  4. to develop joint research projects or scientific collaborations with public and private stakeholders interested in science-based policy interventions

  5. to contribute to increasing the University's attraction capacity of human and financial resources at the national and international level

  6. to promote the visibility and dissemination of the scientific results and activities carried out by the Center and by the individual scholars affiliated with the institutions that founded CLOSER.
